Digital guest folder at Hotel Alpenblick

From the Hotel Alpenblick you can see from the left to the right the following mountains.

Wetterhorn (3691meters), Mättenberg (3104meters), Gross Fiescherhorn with Fiescherwand (4048meters) and the Under Grindelwald glacier. At the end you see the world famous Eiger (3970meters).

To be able to see Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, you need to go up on a mountain, like First, Kleine Scheidegg or Männlichen.

The bar is closed from 21:00 at the earliest, so the main entrance is also closed.

You will be asked to take your room key with you in the evening. To get back into the hotel, you will find an entrance under the restaurant terrace.

With the night entrance code, which you will receive at check-in, you can enter the hotel 24 hours a day.

We have plenty of free parking spaces. If you are arriving with a group, we will allocate you a parking space.

On the day of departure you may of course leave your car until your final departure, we would be grateful for a message from you.

You can pay your bill in cash, by credit card, Maestro or postcard or with foreign currencies (Euro and US Dollar).

Please note that the exchange rate at the bank is more advantageous for you. We therefore recommend that you pay us in Swiss francs. You will find banks in the village that are happy to exchange your currency.

We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Night rest is from 22:00 to 07:00.

Please respect the other guests and our neighbours!

You will find petrol stations at the entrance to the village.

You find a pharmacy in the village at the Eiger+ centre. The opening hours are similar as the normal shop opening hours. See shops.

If you need additional pillows, please ask our staff at the reception.

In the village center you will find our village playground.

On foot you need about 10 minutes from the hotel to the playground.

At the bar, you find a pool table, which is accessible during the bar opening hours. CHF 2.- per game.

Please note, that after 11pm, the pool table may not be accessible anymore, to avoid noise.

You find a post office at the train station. You can leave your letters and postcards at the reception as well, we will take care of it. If you should receive post in our hotel, we will give to you personally. If you should excpect an urgent message, please inform us where you are.

You need a print of a flight ticket, a train ticket or just a document.

Send us an e-mail (hotel@alpenblick.info) attach the document you would like to have printed. Do not forget to mention you name and room number in the mail, and we will print the documents for you.

Up to 4 pages, printing service is for free.

The reception is open from 7am in winter, from 6:30 in summer. It stays open until the closing of the bar.

As we are a small hotel, the reception is not occupied permanently, therefore we ask you to be patient, thank you very much!

The restaurant is open from 5:30pm till 9pm, for the menu, see menu.

We serve a daily menu and hot dishes from CHF 19.

We also offer a small, seasonal additional menu with Alpenblick specialties under the motto: "Es het so langs het". You will find this additional menu next to the entrance door and in the restaurant.

The restaurant remain closed on Sundays and Mondays, during high season (July, August, December and February) closed on Sundays.

On the second floor you will find our roof terrace, which is freely accessible to all hotel guests.

If you use our roof terrace in the evening, please remember to get a good night's sleep, the other guests will be grateful!
