At the bar, you find a pool table, which is accessible during the bar opening hours. CHF 2.- per game.

Please note, that after 11pm, the pool table may not be accessible anymore, to avoid noise.

You find a post office at the train station. You can leave your letters and postcards at the reception as well, we will take care of it. If you should receive post in our hotel, we will give to you personally. If you should excpect an urgent message, please inform us where you are.

You need a print of a flight ticket, a train ticket or just a document.

Send us an e-mail (hotel@alpenblick.info) attach the document you would like to have printed. Do not forget to mention you name and room number in the mail, and we will print the documents for you.

Up to 4 pages, printing service is for free.

The reception is open from 7am in winter, from 6:30 in summer. It stays open until the closing of the bar.

As we are a small hotel, the reception is not occupied permanently, therefore we ask you to be patient, thank you very much!

The restaurant is open from 5:30pm till 9pm, for the menu, see menu.

We serve a daily menu and hot dishes from CHF 19.

We also offer a small, seasonal additional menu with Alpenblick specialties under the motto: "Es het so langs het". You will find this additional menu next to the entrance door and in the restaurant.

The restaurant remain closed on Sundays and Mondays, during high season (July, August, December and February) closed on Sundays.

On the second floor you will find our roof terrace, which is freely accessible to all hotel guests.

If you use our roof terrace in the evening, please remember to get a good night's sleep, the other guests will be grateful!

Unfortunately we cannot provide Room Service, but you are welcome to order something to eat or drink and take it to your room and enjoy it there.

All our hotel rooms are furnished with a safe. The instructions you will find next to the safe. For guests who sleep in the dormitory, we have safes in the room. You can get the key at the reception, deposit CHF 10.-, you will get the money back, when you bring the key back.

When you packed your bags at home you forgot your toothbrush, toothpaste, you can buy it at the reception.

All other items you find in the shops in the village.

Does your clothes nees a seam done, please let us know, our reception is well equipped.

In the village, you find different shops. You find a supermarket Coop at the building of Eiger+.

Most of the shops are open from 8am – 18:30pm.

Is available in all showers.

You can hire ski and snowboard equipment from various sports stores.

Outdoor.ch can help you with mountain tours and ski and snowboard schools.

In the basement you will find a ski and snowboard room, as well as a boot and drying room.

Skis and snowboards are not permitted in the rooms.

Please note, that in Switzerland smoking in public buildings is not permitted. The hotel rooms and the restaurant are non-smoking areas.

You find a smoking area at the bar, which is accessible during the opening hours of the bar. Smoking outside and on the terrace, is permitted.
